Armando Acevedo
Armando Acevedo is jet-setting around the world again as an Adventure Guide with Adventures by Disney. He last appeared on stage at the Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville, Florida playing Ben in the theatrical adaptation of the cult classic Night of the Living Dead. He recently made his television debut in Univision's popular telenovela Acorralada, currently airing in Spain. As el comisario Gomez, he lays down the law in the twisted, lawless world of the soap opera. After completing his graduate degree in theatre at the California Institute of the Arts, Armando began his professional acting career on stage as the unfaithful Palomo in Nilo Cruz’s Pulitzer-winning Anna in the Tropics at the Hippodrome. Other credits include 8-Track: The Sounds of the 70's and Dracula. Armando has appeared in such films as Bad Boys II, Pit Fighter and The Year of Getting to Know Us, and he has several voice-over credits in English, Spanish and French. He has worked for the Walt Disney Company since 1998 in Florida, in California and in France, and occasionally supported the cast of Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at Disney’s California Adventure, where he was suspended eighty feet above the stage by a steel cable. Armando is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
